Privacy at Callback.
Last updated: May 6, 2026.
This is the plain-language version. The legally binding policy will be linked here at App Store launch.
What we collect
Account. Your email and (if you sign in with Apple) the name Apple returns once. That's it.
Audition data. The auditions you create, scripts you upload, character notes, scene takes, and chat messages with Milo (our AI coach). All of this lives in your account, scoped to you with row-level security.
Diagnostics. Anonymous crash reports and performance traces so we can fix bugs. No screen content.
What we do not collect
No analytics SDKs that fingerprint you. No advertising IDs. No tracking pixels. Callback has zero third-party trackers.
How AI requests are handled
Calls to OpenAI (Milo coach + Whisper transcription) and Inworld (scene partner voices) are sent through our backend with the minimum context required for the request. Providers are bound by their zero-data-retention agreements; your inputs are not used to train their models.
Where data lives
Postgres + Storage on Supabase (US region). Backend runs on Vercel. Audio files are written to private buckets and accessed via short-lived signed URLs.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your card. RevenueCat tells us your entitlement state, nothing more. Cancel anytime in Settings → Subscriptions.
Your rights
Export or delete your account by emailing hello@cback.app. We aim to respond within 7 days.
Children
Callback is intended for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will email registered users before the change takes effect.
